Success for all at Night at the Dogs

A big thank you to all who supported our recent “night at the dogs” fund raising draw.

Check out our photos from the night along with the presentations to the Prize Winners.

We are now in a position to advance some projects for the benefit of the community.

The first project is the defibrillator project. There are now 2 defibrillators located in the village. One is located in the Claregalway Hotel and the other is located in the Community Centre. We have just appointed 2 instructors who will be undergoing specialist training in the next few months. This concept is known as “train the trainer”. This will allow us to offer training to any members of the community who wish to be trained at a very nominal cost. Our plan is to start training the community after the summer holidays. Full details on this later!
